Vanrx Pharmasystems Inc. is the leader in isolated robotics for the pharmaceutical industry. We design and manufacture integrated workcells for aseptic vial, syringe, and cartridge filling.

Founded in 2007 and based in Vancouver, Canada, we are a private corporation founded by pharmaceutical process development and manufacturing experts. Our systems are designed with the end user in mind and a complete understanding of the total manufacturing process.

Vanrx’s purpose is to develop technologies that enable companies to provide safe and affordable injectable medicines to the world.

Design Philosophy.

After installing and operating several 'state-of-the-art' aseptic isolator filling lines, we thought there ought to be a better way to do things. The status quo in isolator systems was expensive, complex, difficult to validate, and sacrificed productivity for marginal improvements in contamination potential. Human interventions were still the largest sources of contamination. We thought the process could be made much simpler and easier if the human factor was removed.

Rather than multiple vendors supplying individual parts; one the filler, another the isolator, and yet another for the decontamination system, we wanted to focus on a single application and make a whole product. All parts of the aseptic process that did not absolutely need to be there were removed and performed elsewhere. The tooling required to automate the process was not available, so we built it. And the result was Vanrx Pharmasystems.
